Write On!

Julie M. Prince
4 June
I write and review fiction and nonfiction for children and young adults.

I have a completed middle grade novel and I'm currently working on a young adult novel and a picture book.

My biographies about Leonardo da Vinci and Ella Fitzgerald were published with ProQuest's Reading A-Z line.
Other credits include Highlights for Children, Learning Through History Magazine, The Christian Science Monitor, and The SCBWI Bulletin.

I review for The Assembly on Literature for Adolescents, Teens Read Too, and YA (& Kids) Books Central.

I am membership coordinator for the Arizona region of The Society of Children's Books Writers and Illustrators and I gladly participated in the 2008 ALAN Workshop, where I had the fantastic experience of introducing John Green. My favorite part of the workshop, though, was meeting and chatting with young adult authors from all over the country.

It is my firm belief that kidlit folks are the kindest and most generous people around, and I'm a passionate and dedicated member of the kidlit community. I welcome kindred spirits to my blog!
